DO YOU EVER HAVE ADULTS FOR SALE?

It is very rare that we have one available, but if one becomes available, I will have them posted.

DO CAVAPOOS SHED? ARE THEY HYPO-ALLERGENIC?
No, Cavapoos do not shed- they do not have an undercoat. They do drop hairs here and there though, slightly more than poodles but not much. The hypo-allergenic aspect depends on the hygiene you provide for your dog.
If you properly groom your Cavapoo they can be fantastic pets for people with mild-moderate pet allergies. This means trimming/haircuts every 6-8 weeks and baths every 2 weeks. This hygiene routine can make a Cavapoo a truly hypoallergenic companion for their sensitive human companions!
HOW MUCH DOES CAVAPOO WEIGH?

They are generally somewhere in the range of their parents, give or take a few pounds. Typically, they range from 8-18lbs.

ARE ALL PUPPIES RAISED IN YOUR HOME?
Yes, all puppies are born and raised in my home by myself and my family.
HOW DO I BUY A PUPPY?

Read over the contract and decide what you are looking for (male, female, color, size). If
you are local, you can come and meet my girls and puppies, if there are any at that time. Or, if you are not local, you can contact me so I can answer any questions that you may have.

To hold a puppy, a $500 non-refundable deposit must be paid or you can be placed on a waitlist to be notified if there is a puppy that is available. The waitlist will not guarantee you a puppy.

The balance is due when the puppy is ready to go home. If you are not local, there will
be shipping charges that typically start at $500 depending on your location. I will keep in touch with you and let you know when the litter has been born. If you are local, you will have a chance to come and visit your puppy and make your pick of the litter. If you are out of state, we will have other options to help you visit with your puppy and make your pick. I will also update the website with photos, so keep checking in.

During the time you are waiting to get your puppy, it is a good time to start picking up all the things you will need when your puppy comes home.

WHEN IS MY PUPPY READY TO COME HOME?

The puppy will be dewormed and up to date on their vaccines. The dewclaws are
removed. The puppy will have a vet check and a clean bill of health. If you are local, you can come and pick your puppy up. If you are out of state, shipping will be determined by this point.

I will have a puppy packet with lots of info for you, (Parents, medical records, testing, shot records) as well as a puppy starter pack. This will have a few goodies and some of the food your puppy is on. If you are out of state, I will have this shipped prior to your puppy coming home.

After you get your puppy home, I am still here for you. If you have any questions, or
just need a little advice or even to share your cute puppy photos… always feel free to contact me! We love hearing how are babies are doing!

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PUPPY COMES HOME?

Again, I am always here for support! I suggest not taking your puppy out to any places where other animals frequent, (Parks, pet stores, hiking trails) until after they have had their last booster vaccine at 14 weeks. This is the best way to protect your puppy from viruses! I find crate
training when they first come home, and for a few months, helps with potty training, learning the family schedule, and gives them a nice spot to rest. I also suggest using a playpen when you are not able to
supervise them. Puppies like to get into everything! Piddle pads are a great tool to help potty train.

Each puppy is an individual and will potty train on their own time frame. The piddle pads help speed the process up! Make sure to visit your vet and get the shots on schedule.

WHAT IS THE FOSTER PROGRAM?

The majority of my moms live with me and my family. A few live with their “Foster/Forever” family. This program has an application process and puppies only go to approved homes. I only have a few fosters, so the fit has to be right. The fosters have to be local.

If you are approved, I would place a puppy with you and your family, at no charge and she would come back to me only when she is ready to breed and when it is time to have her puppies. She would stay with me until the puppies are weaned. During the rest of the time, she will be with you and your family.

When she is retired from having puppies, she would be spayed and spend all of her time with you! If you are interested in hearing more about this program, please feel free to contact me.
